To become a member of the Club, you must first attend an Induction session. These are typically on a Sunday and can be found by looking at the club calendar.

Boats, Buoyancy aids and Paddles are available for use by Club members during Club sessions at Bewl.

Once the basic safety requirements are understood, the emphasis during Club sessions is on learning through enjoyment. However, BCU coaches are available for teaching up to the level of 3* by arrangement.

The Club has a range of boats including; general purpose kayaks, White water kayaks, touring kayaks, sit on tops, playboats and Open/Canadian canoes,

At present the Club has a bias towards general recreational, touring and white water kayaking.

The Club invites applications from potential new members of all ages and abilities.

The annual membership fees for 2012/2013 are:

Membership Fees:Membership renewals must be paid before the end of April or an overdue renewal surcharge of £25 will be incurred

Joining fee; (payable in addition to Membership fee (new members only).       £25  

New Member applications are subject to ratification by the committee following completion of an induction session.
